K.S. King is an award-winning Canadian journalist who grew up in rural Newfoundland and Labrador and now works as a school librarian and children’s and youth pastor in the Anglican Diocese of Calgary. Karen is married to an Anglican priest; has two LGBTQ+ sons, one of whom is transgender; and is a great supporter of inclusionary rights for all peoples. The CurE, Book 1: Contamination pre-apocalyptic novel is her first book in the young-adult genre. Published by Austin Macauley Publishers, it is available in all major online bookstores in North America, Europe and Australia, and has received five-star reviews.
