The Podcast Episode is “Dam Good Neighbours: Small Breaches, Stronger Bonds"

Podcast features: Rev. Bill Weaver, Ricardo De Menezes and special guests; Laura Istead, Aurelio “Jun” Naraval and Brian Thiessen.

Let’s learn more about Jun.

Aurelio “Jun” Naraval is an international medical graduate and an epidemiologist. He started as a community organizer in remote areas in the Philippines. Currently, he is the Director of Programs and Public Policy at ActionDignity. Prior to his work with ActionDignity, Jun has extensive work in South and Southeast Asia on human rights, gender and reproductive health as Executive Director of an international organization. At ActionDignity his interest in program management, community engagement and policy advocacy are prominent in leading 5 program outcomes including mental health, gender equity, workers’ rights, social inclusion and public safety. Equity is at the heart of his work with ActionDignity, using an anti-racism lens to connect with and empower Calgary’s ethnocultural communities. He supports these communities to meet their needs and pushes forward the issues that matter most - amplifying their voices and bringing them into spaces of influence and decision-making.

We hope that you will consider coming out and joining us live.
