Thank YOU from Acadia Food Pantry: Early in June we asked if you could help us with peanut butter and canned meat. As always people came through with donations. In addition to the non-perishable items, we received monetary contributions. Continue reading on website.
McDougall United/Christ Moravian Experiences with Refugees 2015-2025: It was in 2015 that McDougall partnered with three other local United churches to co-sponsor a Syrian family to come to Canada. In 2020 we began a partnership with Christ Moravian to support newcomers already in Canada. Stampede Breakfast Thank You! Hi There, I was in attendance with my ukuele group on Sunday. Personally I would like to congratulate you on a fabulously WELL ORGANIZED Stampede Breakfast. Coudos to all the many volunteers! Your hard work was very evident with your flexibility to put up tables and to get people through a quick moving lineup. It was lots of work to get the sound system going as well. The kitchen staff was remarkable! There again, it was well thought out and organized! It was so kind of you to make our group breakfast. We had to wait for some eggs to be done but oh, my goodness - they were SO tasty!! Your gracious selection of food was amazing! Everything was so clean and tidy! Even the coffee lady made sure there were enough supplies. And real cream! It was a real pleasure to play for your guests. They were obviously pleased too as many polite and kind words were heard from your members. The church service was just as pleasurable and went smoothly. I had to laugh because of “ No service today”. It was perfect and your guest speaker was so enlightening. I really enjoyed it, including the beautiful horse and nature slides. It especially fit in beautifully to the spirit of the service. Thank you very much to everyone involved. You really have a fabulous team of people to pull this event off so smoothly. Thank you very much to make us feel warm and welcome. Thank you for inviting us to share our passion of music. Thanks also for allowing us to use the auditorium space on Wednesday evenings. Wednesday evenings has brought such joy for me to be involved in a fun talented musical community. Yahoo! It was so much fun -AND TASTY!!! Filled with gratitude, Barbara S
